Join us at our Open Day - Sunday 21st April
Pacific Lutheran College’s annual Open Day is on Sunday 21st April from 12.30pm – 3.30pm.
Offering a rich education for a well-rounded life, Pacific Lutheran College provides unique opportunities to enhance learning from Kindergarten to Year 12, growing self-directed young people who are well equipped to make a difference.
“Our Open Day provides a unique opportunity for new families to connect with the Pacific community, interact with staff and students and to explore Pacific’s range of quality learning opportunities”, shared Dr Bronwyn Dolling, College Principal.
“Middle and Senior College students lead guided tours of our learning areas which include visits to the Library, Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Centre, Information Technology, Japanese, Outdoor Education, and the Pacific Art Gallery. We invite the community to visit and experience the Pacific difference for yourself by participating in the many activities offered throughout the day.”
Be entertained by Pacific talented musicians and Senior Drama students as they perform scenes from the Senior Musical Production ‘PIPPIN’, which will be performed at the Caloundra Events Centre on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th May.
Families are also invited to visit the Foundation and Junior College which includes the Year 3 to 5 learning space, Early Learning Centre and Prep classrooms where you can walk through to view class work and take part in activities enjoyed by students each day.
“Meet with our students and teachers, explore our flexible learning spaces, learn about our contemporary approach to teaching and learning and our many cultural and sporting opportunities”, says Dr Dolling.
“The Coral Café, run by our Senior hospitality students, will be open offering a limited takeaway food menu and drinks for purchase and our Friends of Pacific will also be hosting a BBQ.”
