MATCH REPORT U9 ANGELFISH
U9 Pacific Angelfish – 2 vs Currimundi Angelfish
On Saturday, we saw double with all the Angelfish taking to the field at PLC, Coach Kyle called it the “Battle of the Angelfish”. If you thought fish could only make waves in water, think again! In a sparkling display of athleticism and camaraderie, the Angelfish teams clashed on the field in a match that had fans swimming with excitement. Pacific Angelfish showed strength and determination which was evident when securing the first goal of the match. The opposition responded with relentless energy, dazzling the crowd with their quick passes and flawless footwork. It was a flurry of activity that had the crowds on the edge of their seats. As the final whistle blew, the scoreboard showed a thrilling 2-2 tie, but if you ask anyone watching from the sidelines, the real winners were the fans. Both Angelfish teams had put on a performance worthy of the ocean’s depths, showcasing skill, determination, and a touch of aquatic magic. In the end, the match was more than just a game – it was a celebration of sportsmanship and teamwork, and as the teams shook hands, the camaraderie was as clear as the sea on a sunny day. Goal scorers: Mia and Belle. Player of the Match: Belle & Emilia.
